I trained as an electronic engineer at Universidad del Norte (Barranquilla, Colombia) and later specialised with a master’s in Information Systems Engineering at UTN Facultad Regional Córdoba (Argentina). Since then I have worked across the whole data lifecycle: medical imaging systems in hospitals, analytics platforms for large companies, data quality and governance, and prototypes of agentic AI and natural language processing.
Astronomy was always there. In 2025 I started the Master’s in Astrophysics and Observational Techniques in Astronomy at UNIR, where I worked with real data —Kepler, Gaia, Perseverance, DECam, observing runs at the Sierra Nevada Observatory— with the same rigour I bring to industry: units, uncertainties and reproducibility.
My master’s thesis, astronomIA, is an agentic assistant that analyses galaxies and plans astronomical observations. I defended it in September 2026 with a grade of 9.5/10, and the committee nominated it for the university’s publications repository.
Outside work I am a musical theatre actress, I write science fiction and I do science outreach: I like making difficult ideas click.
